Hello, I'm Larry.  I'm a writer, poet, author - creator of worlds.  I've got books published and am currently working on more stories.  This site is for people who enjoy books and would like to learn more about my particular stories and how to get copies of my books.

Just to make sure it is understood:

All writings on this website, including the blog, as well as my published books and any stories or poems that I've written but not put in a book yet are copyrighted © and owned by me (Larry Yoakum III) and may NOT be sold, copied, stolen, plagiarized, duplicated, reprinted, distributed, or posted online or even on a bulletin board or a signpost or any other physical location without MY permission.  Any violation will be dealt with in accordance to the laws of the United States of America including fines AND possible jail time.  However, if you happen to want to turn my books into a movie or television show or graphic novel or whatever, then contact me and we'll discuss it.  No guarantees, though.  I can be reached at  [email protected]

Check out my bookshelf to see what I currently have published.

For my old blog, click on the link Yoakum's Ramblings on the top of the page.  I don't write on it anymore as I have switched to a YouTube video blog.  Don't forget to subscribe to the channel for updates.  You can find my YouTube at:

Don't forget to sign the guestbook located at the top of this site as well!  Don't be shy.  Let me know you were here.  I love to stay in touch with my readers.

Here is a link to my book signing from July 31, 2010.  It was at the Barnes and Noble at the Firewheel Mall in Garland, Tx.

The links below are to things pertaining to my writing and the promotion of my work.  For links to other cool stuff (such as other author's sites or things I just generally find nifty), see the top of the home page for that info.  I figured I'd put all my social media right down here so that it is all together and you can go to them all to friend, follow, or whatever else the kids are calling it these days.
