Yoakum's Ramblings

Where have I been?

Posted by Larry Yoakum III on July 18, 2016 at 11:00 AM

Greetings my rabid readers. Sorry I haven’t posted in quite a while. Been busy. Got a lot of writing going on.

I’m about to finish the fourth book of the Targothian series, and, once again, look for it in December. My haunted cruise ship story is still ready to publish, but I am just waiting on late September. I want to start promoting it for Halloween.

Speaking of promoting my books, I have unpublished everything except my poetry book from Smashwords. In a few weeks, they’ll be gone from Nook, Kobo, and other ereaders, and only being on the Kindle. I do this so I can run Kindle exclusive deals. Currently, Redcap is free all week. I am hoping this creates buzz about my work and encourages people to actually buy my other books. After all, my dream is to make enough from writing to quit my day job. I don’t expect to be a millionaire, but I’d love to be a thousandaire. As long as me and my wife can both quit our jobs and she can focus on her dream of being an ItWorks distributor. I’ll write, publish, and write some more. And, of course, I am an ordained minister and am always willing to help a couple out by joining them in matrimony.

Well, it is time for me to get back to it. I hope you all keep reading my books, and stay tuned to my blog, or follow me on FaceBook, Twitter, and Instagram, all as LarryYoakum3.

Oh, by the way, I am working on a loose sequel to Redcap, called Baba Yaga: Cannibal Witch.  She was a side character in Redcap, now it is time to focus on her story.  I will conclude the tale with a third book called Daemon Cloak.  Not sure when I'll be publishing those, but stay tuned.

Catch you on the flip side…
