Yoakum's Ramblings

Book signing on the horizion

Posted by Larry Yoakum III on August 24, 2016 at 10:50 AM

Seasons greetings, my rabid readers, and my season, I mean Halloween season, although we’re still a bit away from it. It is only August. But, soon, September will be upon us, which means two things: Oktoberfest in Addison, Tx (which they have in September, trust me, I’ve gone to it 4 times) and my book “Haunting On The Nobility” is being published. I am doing the book on the 23rd of September and will start promoting it a lot for the upcoming Halloween month of October. I even have a book signing at Half Price Books in Garland, Tx on the 8th of October. I am only going to have two books at the signing. Redcap, my monster story which many have told me is among my best, and my new haunted cruise story, Haunting on the Nobility.

I am excited about this book. I like a good ghost story, and I’ve been on enough cruises where I could draw on my experience from them for the book. A cursed painting and some kooky ghosts are the center of attention in the story. I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it.

I love Halloween season. The cooler weather is a plus, for sure, but the best part is the candy. I always thought Halloween had the best candy. Christmas comes a close second, but Halloween is my champion.

Well, that’s about it for now. Got some stuff to do. I will try to blog more often. Wait, this is called Yoakum’s Ramblings, so here is a ramble. I’m sick of school zones already! People, it is 20MPH, not 10! And when you leave the zone, speed the hell back up! And why the hell can’t people move their asses when the light at the intersection turns green? Are you so into your phone that you’re not paying attention? GO!

Ok, that’s all for now. Catch you on the flip side.
